The Sumac Centre is a community resource based in Nottingham. Run entirely by volunteers, it serves as a space for groups and individuals who share an interest in social justice, environmental issues and/or animal rights.
An online presence was needed, so I used WordPress to create a clean and simple website. I customised the excellent “Hemingway” theme by Anders Norén, which was already responsive and retina ready.
I created a vector logo based on a design by Tom Deams, who also created the original artwork used in the website header.
In order to display and register events taking place at the Sumac, I installed and configured a premium calendar plugin.
I also designed and printed a promotional flyer to complement the online presence.
The Sumac website is currently live.
